Knights was an old amiga Public Domain game in which two players go into a dungeon with a specific goal in mind and compete toward that goal. For example, the goal may be to find three gems and the wand, then exit via the enemy player's spawn point. The players explore the map and smash each other's heads in, which is a lot of fun. This project was started as a remake of Knights intended to have online playability through a lobby system. Since then, I've changed the project to be an online persistent world in order to learn more about the challenges faced by online game developers. The project may never be actually completed but so far I have learned a great deal from it.
